Gloucestershire Music - quality, access and opportunity for all - provide the following:

• Instrumental Teaching. Providing tuition to over 12,500 young people and adults.
• Our ‘Wider Opportunities’ programme gives junior school pupils the experience of playing an instrument at first hand. It is our intention to deliver the WO programme to a further 25,000 students over the next three years
• One of the largest stocks of instruments in the country, available for hire to Gloucestershire pupils at much lower rates than are available commercially. An instrument purchase scheme allows pupils to buy instruments at heavily discounted prices, free of VAT.
• County Music Groups: 22 Orchestras, Music Centres, Wind Bands, Jazz Bands, Brass Bands and Choirs cater for over 1300 adults and young people at all levels of attainment.
• A Summer Orchestral Course and one day workshops providing intensive musical experiences for pupils led by members of the instrumental teaching team.
• The Gloucestershire Young Musician Competition.
